Confession...I'm a huge francofile. I had the privilege of traveling to Paris in high-school with my French club and it was an eye-opener for me. It was my first time traveling abroad and it created a life-long passion to experience new cultures, food, and languages. I liked France (and Paris in particular) so much I ended up double majoring in French Language & European History at NYU and returned to Paris to study for a semester.

I had not been back in about 14 years, but I decided to make the return to Paris and see what had changed and what had stayed the same. For 2 weeks in July, I roamed the city streets and fell in love with the city all over again. Lots of things had changed (Starbucks and Chipotle abound) but the allure was still the same...architecture, fashion, history, urban energy, art, and of course food. It was an amazing trip.

All that being said enjoy the fireworks!!!!
